“Red Dirt Town” is a celebration of the heart and soul of small-town Australia, written and recorded by Australian country artist Dane Sharp alongside country music legend Allan Caswell. A member of the Australian Country Music Hall of Fame, Allan has more than 1,000 recorded songs to his name, making this collaboration a very special moment for Dane. The song draws on the many small towns they have travelled through over decades of touring, where the people, stories and red dirt become part of the journey. For Dane, Hebel has become particularly special a tiny outback town with one pub, a general store, endless open space and people he has grown to love returning to. “Red Dirt Town” is a heartfelt tribute to those places that may be small on the map, but are enormous in the heart.
