For this release Islandman teamed up with ARKADAŞ delivering a modern Anatolian crossover track with a fresh indie-pop pulse. Driven by dreamy vocals, warm guitar textures, and a buoyant synth-bassline, the track weaves a compelling story of fleeting passion over crisp, organic electronic grooves. Fusing psych-folk nostalgia with clean synth-pop, ‘Mecnun' brings a sun-drenched vibe. The track is already becoming a firm live favourite. Rising Turkish electronic/indie artist ARKADAŞ joins Islandman on Mecnun delivering the vocals. The band will be touring across Europe & North America in 2027, bringing their immersive, dance driven live experience that fuses Anatolian psychedelic rock, organic electronics, and hypnotic Afro-beat grooves.
