KINVARA
Kinvara is a classically trained, bilingual songwriter born into a family of artists and musicians, growing up in a home where all genres of music were celebrated. This environment shaped her eclectic taste and emotionally rich songwriting. She writes and performs in both French and English, with a special talent for crafting poignant breakup songs known for their poetic, and powerful lyrics. Educated from the age of 4 to 18 at the bilingual Lycée Français Charles de Gaulle in London, Kinvara also trained as a young chorister at the world-renowned London Brompton Oratory, just a five-minute walk from her school. This proximity allowed her to juggle the demands of both academics and high-level musical training, regularly performing at venues such as the Royal Opera House in productions including The Nutcracker and A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Her early experiences as a performer instilled in her an exceptional work ethic steeped in a “the show must go on” mentality, which continues to drive her today. She went on to study performing arts at the London School of Dramatic Art, honing her expressive abilities and capacity to underpin her compelling stage presence and vocal delivery. Drawing inspiration from artists like Tom Petty, Fleetwood Mac, Joni Mitchell, and Amy Winehouse, Kinvara’s debut single ‘Pour Down’ reflects her diverse influences. Recorded at iconic studios such as Angel, Abbey Road, and Eve Music Studio. The song showcases her collaboration with seasoned musicians and producers, bringing her artistic vision vividly to life.
