Über den Song
Naples producer Marco Rif De Rosa for the 3third time on IAMT Raw with "notorios," a two-track EP of raw, deep, hypnotic techno stripped of decoration. Raised in the shadow of Mount Vesuvius and shaped by industrial aesthetics and the rigor of pure techno, he keeps both cuts instrumental and functional, aimed at the part of the night when the crowd stops watching the booth. "notorios" leans on repetition and low-end pressure, its hypnotic loops turning over with minimal, controlled tension. "Shut the door" follows a similarly restrained path, built from steady percussion and dark atmosphere rather than melody. It is a focused pair from a label whose quieter obsession is techno reduced to its essentials.
