Visually, MYSTIC ALPIN looks more like ‘Beauty and the Beast’, but on stage it is a 6-piece duo, which has a distinctive and authentic sound. There is a “sense of home” to their music, inspired by the Austrian Alps blended with world music: English mixed with local dialect and Deutsch, and pop harmonizing with modern adult contemporary. Put it all together, and what are the results? A musical kaleidoscope that inspires and brings people together. Led by multi-award-winning composer, lyricist, producer, and singer Fred Jaklitsch (SEER, Joy) and the exceptionally talented Verena Schön (SEER), Manuel Brunnsteiner (Die Niachtn), and Ernst Gottschmann (Hardbradler) on vocals, with Fernando Paiva da Silva from Brazil on percussion, and Franz Kreimer (EAV) on keyboards, this all-star band turns every song into an experience acoustically, visually, and emotionally. It took courage and basic trust to venture a completely new beginning after 14 No. 1 albums with Austria's most popular dialect band. To this day, MYSTIC ALPIN stands for pure crossover, sound healing, spine-tingling performances, and uplifting messages. Music that sweeps you away, gives you hope, and becomes your “home.” The theme of home particularly resonates with the release of MYSTIC ALPIN’s newest single, “I can’t stand without you”, as it marks the reunion of singer Verena with composer Fred Jaklitsch.
