Anam Ritual
Anam Ritual are a Northern Irish four-piece metal band established in 2026. Formerly known as Hard To Explain, the change in name underlines the band's new line-up, vision and direction, but most importantly, a relentless sound built to shake the room! Fusing dark, atmospheric electronic synths with bone-crushing breakdowns, crushing drums, and soaring vocals, Anam Ritual carve out a sound that balances haunting melodies with unfiltered heaviness. Their music pulls you into the atmosphere before dragging you straight into the chaos, a collision of electronic intensity and raw, uncompromising metal. This is more than a live show. This is a ritual! "A dystopian reflection on a world built around the rat race, where freedom feels like an illusion and humanity is nothing more than a pawn in a much larger game. Drawing on the current state of the world, Captivity questions the systems that govern our lives and explores the unsettling possibility that our suffering is no accident, but part of a greater design. Beneath the chaos lies a darker question: are we truly in control of our own lives, or are we simply playing a game whose rules were never ours to begin with?"
