Armin van Buuren & FUNK TRIBU
Over six months after their exciting face-to-face performance at ASOT Rotterdam, Armin van Buuren and Funk Tribu released the long-awaited track, ‘Nirvana.’ Originally made for their F2F sets, the joint effort continued to evolve in the studio, growing into the pair’s first full-fledged collaboration. ‘Nirvana‘ is out now, on Armada Music. Listen below. ‘Nirvana‘ smoothly combines Armin van Buuren‘s classic and Funk Tribu‘s contemporary trance elements in one cohesive record. The song builds energy with euphoric trance synths, and a pre-drop vocal whispers: “nirvana.” The first drop is driven by melodic flutters and a pleasant atmosphere, allowing listeners to let go and flow through the track’s moments as if on one continuous wave. The second drop emphasizes a more intense beat, bringing the energy and atmosphere to a new, higher peak before the wave breaks and gradually fades out. With his Ibiza residency concluded, Armin van Buuren continues performing shows around the world, including festival appearances at EDC Colombia, Ultra Mexico and his own event, A State of Trance, in London. Notably, Funk Tribu joins Armin van Buuren to support his upcoming show at Factory Town Miami, and also appears on the EDC Colombia and ASOT London lineups, yielding more possible opportunities to see the pair unite on stage.
