Claus Pieper
Sometimes all it takes is a beat to bring two people back together. With “You & I”, Claus Pieper releases his new deep house single on ZYX Music, delivering the next atmospheric soundtrack for those special moments between night and dawn. Following his recent releases “Fade to Black” and “London Lights”, Pieper continues his musical journey with a track that seamlessly blends groove and emotion. Relaxed deep house beats meet warm harmonies, atmospheric sound design and an expressive female vocal line that gives the song its emotional signature. Lyrically, it tackles perhaps the oldest theme in pop music: two people who lose each other, miss each other yet still refuse to give up hope of finding their way back to one another. “You & I” tells of love and heartbreak, of uncertainty and closeness, but also of that tiny spark of hope that remains when not everything has yet been said. The lyrics paint pictures of twinkling stars, the first light of dawn and the longing for a home together. Musically, Claus Pieper maintains a pleasantly light-footed feel. The track grooves, floats and builds its impact step by step. ‘You & I’ is deep house with feeling – modern, warm and atmospheric, without losing any of its dancefloor energy. Released via ZYX Music, ‘You & I’ is out on one of Europe’s established independent music labels. The label is already supporting Claus Pieper with his current releases and is bringing his sound to the digital music world via an international distribution network. “You & I” a track about what remains when two people still believe in “us” despite all their doubts.
