Living Word Songs
Living Words Songs presents “Wonderful” and “He Is The Rock”, written and composed by Cecil Dinnall, featuring Donnoya Drake on vocals. “He Is The Rock” is a bold declaration of faith, anchored in God’s unshakable steadfastness. Carrying a warm, mid- tempo reggae style rhythm, the song blends warm, soothing vocals with an anthemic chorus that lifts as much as it declares. Inspired by scriptures including Psalm 18:2 (“The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer... in whom I take refuge”) and Matthew 7:24–25, “He Is The Rock” reminds listeners that no matter what happens, Jesus Christ is the foundation to build your life upon. Living Word Songs, founded by Cecil Dinnall, is an independent Contemporary Christian music company based in the UK. Dinnall’s musical roots go back to the mid-1980s as a member of The Offbeat Posse, recording and producing reggae and dancehall, for JTS and Y&D in East London. It was in the latter part of that season that the Lord called Dinnall out to serve in His Kingdom. In 2025, Dinnall penned several songs for the first time, and out of that he created Living Word Songs. Committed to creating fresh, Bible-based songs, Living Word Songs strives to produce music that celebrates the gospel of Jesus Christ, encourages believers, all while sparking curiosity in those seeking the truth.
