NBP Human
NBP Human is the reimagined music project of Hungarian songwriter, lyricist, and producer Balázs Janky, offering raw and powerful reflections on our bewildering modern world. Originally formed as a teenage grunge band in the 1990s, NBP Human was reborn in 2025 with a distinct and bold sound that blends gritty indie rock with grunge influences and deeply thought-provoking lyrics. After nearly 15 years of success in the Hungarian pop scene collaborating as a songwriter with many of Hungary’s top pop artists Janky returned to his roots. The result is a pure, uncompromising musical vision that draws inspiration from artists like Dire Straits, Santana, Chris Rea, and Coldplay, while carrying the intensity of Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Foo Fighters, and Nickelback. Yet the NBP Human sound remains unmistakably unique recognizable and unlike anything else. Visually, NBP Human stands out thanks to the bold graphic identity designed by Janky’s son, Milán Janky, a talented visual designer. The project’s music is mixed and mastered by renowned sound engineer Zsolt Gyulai, one of the most in-demand names in Hungary. The striking, often unconventional visuals of NBP Human’s music videos are brought to life in collaboration with photographer Lóránt Hollay. NBP Human’s debut single, “Morbid Craziness”, released in February 2025, climbed to No. 4 on the European Indie Music Network’s 70-radio chart. The second single, “The Fundaments”, released in April 2025, is now being played on over 120 radio stations worldwide, from Australia to the UK, and from Portugal to Pennsylvania. The third single, “We’ve Got the Moment,” launches globally in July 2025. The music video is already available on YouTube, and the track is expected to continue NBP Human’s rise on international airwaves. With its unapologetic sound, unmistakable identity, and sharp emotional resonance, NBP Human stands as a bold, original voice in today’s music landscape
