Oscura
Formed in Ayr, Scotland, Oscura delivers music that captures the raw intensity of Nu Metal, the emotional warmth of shoegaze, and ties it all together, providing a powerful new sound in the alternative metal genre. The band's previous release, 'Liminal', increased their visibility as one of the freshest Scottish bands on the alternative rock scene, garnering airplay across the globe, whilst picking up top end radio support across the likes of Total Rock, Rock Radio UK and Hard Rock Hell. The single was also 'Track of the Month' on the underground A&R show BSBTV! "Pitfall is a dystopian vision of the future, and an anthem of billionaire repent. It sings the warnings of the world’s intended destruction, while aiming to inspire rebellion against a defeat-able oppressor. This song serves as a high point in Oscura, as it was the first of our songs to hold a definitive and intended message. It is an imperative step from the inquisitive nature of their last record, to the expressive definition that is intended in their new era."
