Kabüki is a rock band from London. Kabüki is an art gallery in motion. Every song is an exhibition room, and every room makes you feel an emotion. From happiness, to horror, from anger to hope: Synaesthesia is present in every song, filling you with a musical drug that will make you see a specific colour, live a unique art form or feel a sensation that lasts until the next one takes you on a different part of the trip. We are rock, we are emo, We are pop and we are metal. We are pink, and we give birth to a rainbow of personalities and characters. Prior to the launch of brand new music, Kabuki re-released their singles 'Ice Cream', 'Shardfall' and 'Art' at the tail end across the last 6 months which allowed the band's visibility to increase with a larger global audience, including big pick-ups from the likes of Total Rock, Rock Radio UK, The Sound Lab and BSBTV. Their last new single, 'Festival Of Flowers' continued with that momentum of growth! 'Butterfly' is a fight for trans rights. It talks about the suffering and struggles of a transitioning person when trying to achieve a peaceful life, where they will be accepted and not hated for wanting to be who they really are. At the same time, Butterfly talks about the general problems when trying to fit in in a musical world where everybody is expected to fit a specific category, with promoters or fans, and the difficulty of bringing something new and mixed to the table."
