Baedine
ZYX Trance introduces Baedine (Nadine) with her debut weapon, 'First Light'. A Chicopee native who cut her teeth in NYC, this 'corporate girlie by day, raver by night' and wife of trance icon Robert Nickson delivers a masterclass in peak-time, 140 BPM rave euphoria. Tailor-made for Beatport DJs, 'First Light' features clean intro/outro mix blocks for seamless blending. The foundation features a tight, heavy bassline sidechained perfectly against rough, punchy kicks to keep the low end mud-free. In the breakdown, a dark, analog synth hook takes center stage, enhanced by clever spatial panning. Baedine layers driving 303-style acid overtones and heavenly gated vocals, building immense tension before a massive sonic explosion at the climax. Stripping away unnecessary frills, Baedine focuses on pure dancefloor impact. This is a versatile, high-energy anthem built for dark warehouses and festival mainstages. We welcome Baedine and eagerly await her next releases.
