Working in the Peak Time and Driving mode, the title track "Hammered" pushes a relentless kick and taut percussion, with metallic textures layered over a hardened low end for maximum floor pressure. "Spirits in the Woods" turns toward the hypnotic side of his range, folding darker atmospheres and looping stabs into a steady, driving arrangement that keeps tension high.
