Moxies are an Edinburgh based 90’s grunge, garage punk rock band with natural, gritty vocal authenticity backed by the wall-of-sound influences of Nirvana, Soundgarden & The Pixies High energy, raw and honest, Moxies have crafted their sound from underground scenes and unheard noises mixed with hook driven vocals and guitar. Their lead guitarist brings a background in working with Steve Albini in 2001 to solidify the heavy but melodic sound. They aren’t a tribute. But an evolution! The band's previous release, 'Bonfire', was massively influential in increasing their visibility with global airplay, positive reviews and great feedback across the board!
