PLEXIPHONES
With “This Much (AuraWave Remix)”, Mönchengladbach-based PLEXIPHONES return with a special release. Reinterpreted by Andreas Kraemer under his AuraWave project, the song is far more than a conventional remix: it combines the band's emotional Alternative Pop sound with an atmospheric, contemporary approach and a stronger rock attitude. The remix blends atmospheric synths with the sound of a classic grand piano, giving the melancholy original a new dynamic without losing its emotional depth. Lyrically, “This Much” explores the fragility of a relationship, longing, self-respect and the realization that love can sometimes feel strongest just as it seems to be slipping away. The release also offers a first taste of PLEXIPHONES' fifth studio album, which is currently in the works, while showing another side of the band's musical versatility. Singer Wolfgang Kemmerling: „When Andreas sent us his first version, we immediately felt that it gave the song a new emotional perspective. That's exactly why we wanted to release it“ Producer Andreas Kraemer: “What fascinated me most about ‘This Much’ was the honesty of the song. My intention was never to turn it into a club track, but to take its emotions into a new sonic world with a more rock-driven attitude.”
