Lex Johnsen & Discodumper & Noty
With “Lost on the Way”, Lex Johnsen teams up with Discodumper & Noty, known for their distinctive Soulful House and Disco House sound, for a collaboration that takes things in a more energetic, dance-driven direction. A driving, pulsating bassline forms the foundation of the track, creating a constant sense of forward motion from the very start. As the track develops, a distinctive trumpet riff enters the mix, adding a striking contrast to the powerful dance groove and giving “Lost on the Way” its own unmistakable character. Combining a pulsating bassline, catchy vocals and its signature trumpet hook, “Lost on the Way” brings together modern dance energy with the House influences of Discodumper & Noty – balancing club impact with an accessible, radio-friendly edge. And there is more to come: Discodumper & Noty will revisit “Lost on the Way” with their own House remixes, taking the track further into their musical territory. The release is coming out on the Kommandoerr Music label and includes three versions: “Lost on the Way” (4:36), “Lost on the Way (Extended Mix)” (6:32) designed for DJ sets and clubs and “Lost on the Way (Radio Edit)” (2:47), optimized for direct listening. In addition, Discodumper & Noty will later expand the release with their own house remixes, thereby adapting the track to their signature sound. The single is set to be released on September 25.
