Following its premiere during Armin van Buuren’s show at Amsterdam Dance Event 2025, ‘Burn It Up’ now receives its official release on August 14th via Armada Music. Featuring vocals from Scruffizer, the record blends van Buuren’s trance roots with DIØN’s signature hard dance sound, combining hard-hitting percussion and driving synths in a high-energy release made for peak-time dance floors. For DIØN, ‘Burn It Up’ marks a pivotal new chapter. Building on recent singles ‘Come Alive’, ‘Taka Tribe’ and ‘Pulsation’, the collaboration continues to chart an artistic evolution that sees him increasingly blur the boundaries between genres, hinting at a broader creative vision while staying true to the energy that first put him on the map.Having built his reputation at the darker end of the hard techno spectrum, with support from artists including Sara Landry, Amelie Lens, Nico Moreno and Fatima Hajji, DIØN has gone on to perform at festivals and events including Awakenings, Verknipt, Soenda and Mysteryland, alongside releases on Armada Music and his own Rough Material Records imprint.
