Plaha
AXIOM continues its melodic house and techno run with "Darxver," a single from Plaha, the Ukrainian DJ and producer Vladislav Plakhotnichenko, who began making electronic music in 2018 and spent the following years shaping his own sound while organizing events and performing at festivals across his country. True to the label's taste for arrangements with somewhere to go, the instrumental title track moves at 124 BPM in F# major, building its momentum without leaning on vocals. A steady low end anchors the groove while synth lines unfold across the arrangement, giving the record room to stretch over a long set and hooks that hold up once the room empties. It is the kind of track that keeps its nerve rather than chasing an immediate peak.
