Backstrom feat. Tom Savage
Backstrom is a Swedish songwriter who writes songs in the "Americana" genres and records them with talented musicians online. After a long break from music, Backstrom had a creative year in 2023, during which he wrote a lot of songs and finally released the albums "The Carousel" and "Dark Clouds" in 2024. Following this, Backstrom released his third album, “The Contrarian” in 2025“. I usually prefer the organic sound of real instruments performed by skilled human beings, but then again, there’s always exceptions,” says Backstrom. “And the rule of thumb is usually ‘less is more’.” Now Backstrom releases the next single, "On A Roll (feat. Tom Savage)", a classic bluesrock song with a good flow in the melody, for the upcoming album, "Thousand Miles", due for release this coming September.
