Über den Song
"Pulling Me" is where Spartaque's sound grows up. Two decades in techno, from Terminal M and Factory 93 to his own Codex, taught him how a room moves. This record asks what stays with you after the room empties: a vocal that will not let go, a melody built for the last hour of a festival, and the peak-time drive still underneath it. Melodic techno with a song at its center. It is also a first: Axiom is his label, home to melodic house and techno since its first release, and this is the first Spartaque record to come out on it. It opens a new chapter and sets the standard for what follows: a series of vocal records on Axiom, made to be kept, not just played. The lyric is about a pull you cannot walk away from. So is the plan.
