The Crimson Ghosts revive "Mephisto" for Carpe Mortem's 20th Anniversary. Originally released in 2006, "Mephisto" returns as the first single from the 20th Anniversary Edition of The Crimson Ghosts' second album, Carpe Mortem. Completely remixed and remastered by Andreas Frank at Casket Garden Studio, the new version delivers a more powerful and detailed sound while preserving the raw energy and dark atmosphere of the original. Chosen by the band as the lead single, "Mephisto" represents everything that defines The Crimson Ghosts: memorable hooks, driving guitars and a sound rooted in horror punk while embracing influences from hardcore and metal. The digital single will be released on August 31, 2026, followed by the full anniversary edition of Carpe Mortem on September 18, 2026.
