Azizzi Romeo
Rising Jamaican artist and producer Azizzi Romeo marks a defining new chapter in his career with the release of his debut full-length album, ‘Signs of the Time’ an 11-track body of work produced by CHLLNGR Jaszol and Thomas Leholt with live band instrumentation by the Guiding Star Orchestra, with mixing and mastering by acclaimed British producer and engineer Prince Fatty. Following the release of his previous projects, Romeo steps into a new chapter with Signs of the Time, presenting a broader and more fully realized expression of his artistry. The Album brings together Romeo’s smooth vocal delivery with the rich instrumentation of Guiding Star Orchestra, creating a sound rooted in reggae. “This album is about paying attention to what is happening around us- the things we are experiencing. ”I wanted the music to feel honest and timeless, while still reflecting the moment we are living in.” With 11 tracks, Signs of the Time allows Romeo greater space to explore different moods, stories and perspectives. The album’s foundation is strengthened by the live musicianship of Guiding Star Orchestra, whose instrumentation gives the project an organic, soulful character, while Prince Fatty’s mix and master bring cohesion and sonic depth to the finished production. The release marks an important milestone for an artist carving his own identity while carrying forward a deep musical lineage of his father Max Romeo.
