Modular States continues its peak-time and driving techno program with "Neon Freedom," a single from KØBALTT. Originally from the North of France, KØBALTT began DJing in the late 1990s, moving from the grooves and heavy basslines of electro and hip hop into more electronic, underground territory across the 2000s. That history shows here. The instrumental track opens on a powerful, deeply groovy bassline the producer had carried for some time, then builds around fat, driving synths aimed squarely at the floor.
