Emerald Sunday
Emerald Sunday is a Scottish indie/rock band formed in 2008 in Kirriemuir, Angus - notably the same hometown as legendary AC/DC frontman Bon Scott. The group evolved from playing local pub cover gigs into an accomplished original outfit, building a dedicated nationwide following with their distinct blend of melodic hooks, classic rock influences, and stadium-ready anthems. The band was originally founded by songwriter Alan Hunter (guitar/vocals) and bassist Scott Crawford. Over the years, the group's line-up solidified around long-time members Matthew Fleming (guitar), Mike Juraszewski (drums) and Andrew "Tweed" Taylor (keyboards). The band underwent a significant transition in mid-2026. Following the departure of long time frontman Mike Martin and original bassist Scott Crawford, Emerald Sunday officially introduced Shaun Brennan as their new lead singer and guitarist to spearhead their next musical chapter.
