Mad Painter
Hot off the presses from Boston, Massachusetts, we're delighted to bring you "Spin Your Ventilator" from MAD PAINTER — a gloriously exuberant blast of Hammond-powered hard rock from their brand-new album "Island Poetry", released on 9 October 2026. If your listeners have a soft spot for the larger-than-life days of Deep Purple, Uriah Heep, Slade and AC/DC, this should be right up their street. Think roaring guitars, swirling Hammond organ, infectious hooks and a generous helping of seventies swagger. "Spin Your Ventilator" is short, punchy and thoroughly entertaining. Beneath the driving riffs and cheeky lyrical twists lies an interesting creative partnership: Mad Painter's songwriter and keyboard player Alex Gitlin transformed a poem by Dmitry M. Epstein into what he describes as an AC/DC-style headbanger. Mad Painter make no apologies for their classic-rock influences, but this is no dusty nostalgia exercise. It's energetic, melodic, playful rock music, delivered by musicians who clearly love what they do. We're bringing this track to the Good Stock radio network as our featured introduction to "Island Poetry" — and there's more good news for programmers: the entire new album is also available to download and broadcast.
