OpCritical
OpCritical is a response to the critical state of America and the world today. Their music, lyrics, and videos are a mirror of the monster before us, the Demogorgon, which can and will destroy everything in its wake unless there is a powerful citizen operation to push back. The members of the band are not important but the message of their music is. Intense, immediate, raw, and emotional, it is meant to inspire people to get off the couch and protect their fundamental rights. Their newest song and music video, “Act Up”, further drives the band’s core philosophy home. The song is meant to fire people up to get off the couch and make a difference in the real world. Far too many citizens are simply acting like spectators while the world around us burns. OpCritical wishes to inspire people to look away from their screens with “Act Up”, which mixes punk, rock, and a little grunge. The music video shows what happens when people become gluttonous and lose touch with reality. In response to the dangers currently facing America, OpCritical will regularly release new songs and videos until the danger is gone.
